A beautiful location with stunning views. Room excellent and very clean staff very friendly.

A very good experience, really pleased with the hotel, staff and food. A very nice restaurant they have there. Room was clean, we had kettle, cookies etc. Breakfast was proper Full English breakfast, and/or you could have some flakes, jam, etc.

The location was ideal for walking in the western Lake District. It was in beautiful surroundings, very comfortable, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the food was fantastic

Fantastic setting in the Lakes. Very friendly staff who were happy to provide an early breakfast to help us start our walk up Scafell Pike early. Comfortable and cosy room. 2 pubs just down the road who provide food (although one was closed for refurbishment during our stay). Good quality restaurant in hotel.

The surrounding countryside is amazing, although and can get quite cold. However going back to this Hotel gave me a really cosy feeling that was relaxing.

Lovely hotel and surrounds. Great for a walking holiday or just to spend the time in the pubs in the area! Staff at the hotel were great especially Emma. Wouldn't hesitate to stay in the Low Wood again.

Booked the hotel at last minute and glad we did. Accommodation and service excellent. full english breakfast was great. The location was superb set in Nether Wasdale, away from the crowds of the central lakes. Village only a minute away with two pubs both serving food. Wasdale and Wastwater only ten minutes away. we will certainly be back
